Forgot Cold Weather Training?

 

Who knew Michigan would get down to 62 last night? I like to froze my butt off last night! Threw my fleece on this morning to warm up, prayed for “BOB” (Bright Orange Ball) to show up! May need to buy something a little heavier than a Detroit Lions throw. And to think I spent a week in Bridgeport CA. in the Sierra Nevada mountains in 3 foot of snow in a two person tent.

Happy Father’s Day 2024

We visit Mac Daddy’s Entertainment Center on Saturday night. Another challenge was accepted by Grumpy. And as usual Grumpy was the winner of the challenge. There was absolutely no doubt of the outcome. great time was had by all. Grumpy may use house shoes, but Grumpy has his own ball. it is a little older that Josh, because it was bought before he was born. So enjoy, here’s another 7 minutes of your life that you wont get back.

An Addition to Fifth Quarter Roar Studio

Picked up two recliners from Facebook marketplace tonite. For the Fifth Quarter Roar Studio aka The Dan Cave. Wanted to replace the love seat. They’re in decent shape, the price was right and if you spill a beer on them it doesn’t matter. Plus they are good enough for the girls we date!

Grumpy Update

 

A few changes going on with Grumpy. Some of which, may be revealed in due time. One is the big time weight loss plan that I have embarked on. Mostly health related, some is because I want to. I haven’t posted a lot on here. Maybe because I just don’t have the words right now to express myself. I tell myself to give it time. Sorry no videos lately, but I feel it’s for the best at this time.

In the meantime Josh and I are planning to continue Fifth Quarter Roar. We may do a meet up in Detroit for one or two of the games. Maybe do a FQR while we are in town with our folks. It Has Been A Minute Since The Last Fifth Quarter Roar!

We took a little time off after the NFC Championship game. No, not to pout. It was a great season by those pesky Lions for the Motor City. Fifth Quarter Roar will be back for another season. We are discussing if we want to do a show for the up coming draft, which by the way is going to be held in Detroit. I may try to get some local reaction to the draft. Our show is not a highly produced show. Both Josh and myself do have daytime jobs. Maybe a Coffee with Grumpy update will be forthcoming. So stay turned.

 

Fifth Quarter Roar | NFC Championship Game Lions at 49ers

The Lions fantastic season is now over. Super Bowl aspirations will have to wait until next season. A good foundation has been built. The Lions blew a 17 point halftime lead, but lost only be 3 points.
