Grumpy has to talk some Lions faithful back from the edge. He still believes. Better yet, if the sports media is talking about someone else and not the Lions he feels thats a good thing. He announces the new name of his and Josh’s post game review video. Not calling it a podcast yet, but maybe in due time. With a new name it will still be available on the Coffee with Grumpy YouTube channel and The Life of Grumpy website.

Happy Thanksgiving 2023

Packers come to Motown to take on the Lions in the annual Thanksgiving Day game. Josh is a little disappointed, Grumpy says you win some you lose some. The better team won today. Thanksgiving meal didn’t taste any different today. Next game Lions at Saints.

Did this one in my truck, because it was too windy for good audio and the gray overcast sky was really nothing to look at.

Considering a new name for the post game show that Joshua and I do. I throw out some ideas.

Grumpy and Josh review another win by the Lions, this time at home against the Bears. What an incredible victory in the last four minutes of the game. This brings their record to 8-2 before the Thanksgiving game versus the Green Bay Packers.

How many Detroit Lions shirts does this guy have? The Chicago Bears come to Ford Field to take on the Detroit Lions. An important divisional game. The post game review maybe slightly delayed due to Josh having to work on Sunday. We will get one recorded I promise you.

Veterans Day 2023

 When I see Old Glory flying, I always say “yes please”. I wouldn’t live anywhere else! It’s all because of our Veterans. 

A huge THANK YOU goes out to ALL our Veterans, I truly understand what it means to serve and sacrifice for our freedoms and our way of life. Not the most lucrative or glamorous job to have, it takes a special individual to serve. This day is to honor YOU. I am humbled just to know most of you. God bless America!

Having spent 20 years in the Navy and at least half of those serving along side of some awesome Marines. I would like to wish them Happy Birthday. The Marines having their beginnings started in a bar, The Tun Tavern in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Kicking ass for 248 years!

Marine Corps birthday on Friday. Always celebrate their birthday having the birthday meal. Spent half of my Navy career with those fine fellas and fellettes. Happy Birthday!
